The Indian Navy is inviting eligible as well as unmarried candidates for contribution of Short Service Commission in Executive Branch specifically Technical Branch (Naval Architecture / General Service) and General Service / Hydro and Permanent Commission in Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre (NAIC) at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala.

Education Qualification: The one who is in the final year of Engineering or had the Engineering degree from the well-known educational institute with having 60% marks till 5th or 7th semester of course. The eligibility details for the particular post is described below.

Executive Branch (Hydrography Cadre / General Service): Must have the degree of B.Tech or B.E. of any discipline i.e. the subject in which you have done the graduation

Selection Process: The selection process will be as follows,

• IHQ of MoD has the right to shortlist applications and to decide cut-off based on the percentage of marks of a candidate in BE/B.Tech. There will be no communication at this stage. Interviews for short-listed candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore / Bhopal / Coimbatore / Visakhapatnam between Nov 17 to Mar 18. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview on their email or through SMS.
• The interview will be in two stages. The first stage will be of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception, and Discussion test. Candidates who will not be able to clear the first round are disqualified. The second stage will be of Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview will last for 04 days. Final candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination (approx duration 03-05 days).
• Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared as medically fit will have training as per all India merit of SSB marks depending on the number of vacancies. There will be no modification in place of interview.
• Candidates had to download the call-up letter on receiving intimation from IHQ MoD (N) at SMS/email. Modification in SSB dates will be addressed to the call-up officer of the SSB on receipt of call up letter.
